Description:
This rum has a very deep taste that was very popular among seamen and travelling adventurers. It is a blend of rums from Jamaica, Guyana and Barbados that has aged in oak barrels. This rum has a dark and bodied colour and a special and recognizable, rich taste of walnut, brown sugar, dried fruit such as raisins along with herbs and arrack.
Excellent blend with ginger ale.

Who was Captain Morgan?
In 1654 Henry Morgan sailed from Wales towards the Caribbean. He was a good leader and he fastly became captain and even knight. In 1680 Sir Henry Morgan was governer in Jamaica and had a plantation named after him. Hundreds of years later he became the main figure for the famous brand The Captain Morgan Rum Company whose recipe was inspired in an old family recipe of rum from Jamaica.
